What is the 1956 SS Corvette? Are you referring to the 1957 SS racer that was taken to Sebring?

Dale's still asleep this early so I'll chime in.........

It's about the Super Sport. '56 #1589 that GM modified to become the Motorama car that was to debut fuel injection in January of 57.

Sold to a private party in '57, wrecked in Albuquerque NM by a young man on a joyride, sat in a wrecking yard for a year+, bought by a man who did nothing with it for ~40 years, bought and restored over the last 5-7 years.
