Bench in Honor of Marvin Burnett

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped with the purchase of the bench that in now at the Corvette Mussem, to honor Marvin Burnett. He was team leader for the 73 to 77 judging team. If you have a chance to go, please look for it. It is really neat and will stand for all ages to enjoy

Thanks again to all that donated

Thanks for ;eading the effort Tony. The picture Ken Robb posted looks nice. Can you give me some orentation where the bench is around the Museum? I was kind of looking with my one good eye when I was down there Labor Day, but I missed it. I might go back down there to see the Corvairs, and I'll take a look at the bench then.

My idea? I don't recall that. The credit goes to you for taking on the job of organizing and collecting.

I'm sure if I can't find it, the staff can point me in the right direction. It was just so much of a zoo Labor Day I didn't want to take the time to bother them -- and I wasn't sure it was a done deal either.

I saw it Labor day. It's quite striking! It's on the front walk about 100' east of the main entrance at the intersection of the sidewalk that goes around the east end of the building.

Tony, Thank for spearheading the project. Do you need any additional funds?

Wasn't there a photo of the memorial bench or a link thereto posted here the other day? If not, guess it was somewhere else. I would like to include a photo in our chapter archives.
              Thanks and best regards,
