I plan on pulling the original saw blades from my LT4 and reconditioning them. I recently obtained some circa 2000 GS-C's that are correct in every way except for the date codes. I will mount this rubber on the reconditioned saw blades and use these wheels for judging/showing only.
For the rest of the time I have obtained a set of GS repop wheels. However, the rim has more polished aluminum exposed than real GS wheels so I want to paint them. The question is, what color of black paint did Chevy use on these wheels? Did they simply use the same paint as on color code "41" Corvettes or did they use a unique black paint?
