    Me Too!!!
But at the other end of the country, Calabassas CA. SCC Chapter meet. It was fun, and I learned a lot.
Very proud of the accomplishment also, been working on the car almost two years.
But still lots to do for the next one!

Guys like you are what make this hobby the enjoyment it is. Behind ANY successful organization is a group of volunteers willing to do more than their fair share. Special thanks to all of those judges and volunteers!! Take care, Shooter
Thanks Henry, actually I didn't wear any hats, only my name tag. We were so busy with exterior judging of the two cars; looking over the judging requirements and score sheets carefully, talking with the owners and Team Leader as required. Then along with this, the judges on my car came over several times and they wanted to go over some item or have a question, so I was going back and forth all day. I think we took a five minute lunch break and then got back to business. PT

One thing I did for the guys judging my '67 was to place a picture of my car's tank sheet and VIN pad on the dash for the Judge's information only. The VIN pad is tough enough to see with the naked eye and the tank sticker is impossible to see, so these pics may have helped them out. They were sort of skeptical at first about the headrests option but the tank sheet sort of verified it. PT

I sort of learned to think like they think and we would discuss many details on a particular car and I would put this in my memory banks and apply them to my car. Don't think being a judge is a waste of time, it's not. It helps for you to learn the system and how to apply it to your car, so when you get your car judged, you will have a different perspective. Just my two cents. PT
          Great Looking Car, Patrick...

You've been working on that one for a while, and it shows...

                        Patrick,

Congrats on the blue ribbon, I still remember the pic after you had taken the old front end off, wasn't it sitting on your deck?

                        Keith,

I am sure you are the only judge, that can slide under the frame rails

Tom, you have quite a memory! Yeah, the front end was repaired when I bought it. The rear half was original and the front half from the center of the wheels forward was a one piece hand laid nose. So I took it off and sold it in a week, then bought a new jig molded and assembled front end from Sermersheim's and installed it. No doubt it was a good move. PT
