Rear Body Mount Bolts

Sorry if this is a dumb question.
I had to drill out both rear body mounts. I don't see an access hole to replace bolt or replace mount if required. Do you have to remove rear ( sort of looks like a splash guard panel behind back tire.. attached by what looks to be a calking of some kind.

Recovered this from archive. Thanks Jeff Blakeslee.
rear mounts are installed from the bottom up and the nuts are captive in a bracket that is below the rear deck lid hinge spring. If these bolts have never been out they can be really locked up. Pull the carpet back around the hinge spring and you will see a well behind it where the nut and retainer are. Spray a liberal amount penetrating oil on the captive nuts and wait a day. This will give you the best chance of not breaking the nut retaining bracket off (like I did) while trying to get the bots out. I have pictures if you need more info.

Wayne,
If you are lucky the nut will break loose, but most times due to rust the square nut inside the cage will spin in a twisted up cage. When this happens it is best to cut out the cage with a small die grinder cutter. With cage out so will the cut off bolt and frozen nut attached extract. This is assuming you have all ready cut off the bolt head as it appears in your photo.

You are right on. I had to drill head of bolt off. yes it is spinning.
if I can loosen the bolt that appears to hold the cage in will the cage drop out when body is lifted off.

Yes, but you will be lifting the bolt and cage nut out from the top. You need to break free the cage so the square nut inside is free.

Once you do get the body off you may find the body mount braces on the body have the aluminum rivets broken free from the fiberglass. Knocking out the rivets and reriveting is necessary to insure the body don't move around.

Back to the cage nut...... You may find it better to weld a nut to a steel plate cut to fit in the pocket in the body rather than screw around with a new cage nut assembly.

Just make the plate so it will not turn in the pocket as you fasten a new body mount bolt.
