Sorry more 53-55 headlight Trivia
I often see on e-bay headlight rings mentioning NOS correct for 53 to 57 Corvette at a cost of $100.00 and up. Well the correct original's have three screw eyes in closed as seen here. The other seen here have two slotted holes and is held by a spring (early Chevy). I've also seen restored 53-55 vetts missing the wire rubber coated seals R/S for the buckets that keep water from shorting out the headlights. ( I don't know if there repro'ed )?
