Today we had our annual Dutch Chapter flight event and one of the cars was a really nice and original 72 convertible (39K documented miles, 99% original paint etc etc). Needless to say it was a lot of fun for the teams judging this car - good educational stuff. We even found the unopened bag with all the seat shims, much to the delight of the owner (he knew he has an original car but never got to the exact details)
For the first time I was in the interior team (damaged my back yesterday and thought that interior was less stressful than chassis, my favorite). Well, mmm - anyhow; some nice points. The TIM & JG mentions that the sun visor label normally has a part number 327568 and a date AND that "at least one car built early November has a label with a part number 6263563 and no date"
Well, today we saw another one (SN 7234, production 12 november 71).

Car also had the 71 stainless steel rear view mirror back edged in grey rubber.
So no question in my post - just knowlegde sharing.
Had a lot of fun,
Erik
