67 327/350 alternator question

I found it once but can't find it again (should have saved it).

Is the correct configuration for the top bolt that holds the alternator to the support bracket like this:

Alternator / bracket / big flat washer / star washer / lock washer

I checked the AIM and it only shows 2 washers, yet the Long Island part comes with a large flat, a star and a lock.

Thoughts?

It's alternator/bracket/big flat washer/star washer/bolt head, as described on page 88 of the JG. There's no split lock washer.

Chris the correct way is alternator, bracket, thick flat washer, star washer and then the bolt usually with a "WB", "RBW", or other headmarkings. Not sure about the lock washer. Is it the same size as the other washers.

The split lockwasher is there for us C3 (later 1969 and newer) guys. We throw away the star washer and use the split lock washer. They sell the same kit to everyone, nd you use what you need/want.
