C-1 Window felt- what's this?

I just got a Window Run and Felt Set from Corvette Central and it included 2 pieces of black fabric about 18" long and about 21/2" wide. What is it and how do you install it? Thanks in advance.

I think it goes into the run assembly inside the door; look at AIM sect F, sheet 7.00.

Rear window channel liner. Glue it in place

It is the rear window channel liner. As far as using it, I would suggest you throw it out. It is entirely too thick and your window will bind. Raising or lowering the glass will become a two hand operation.

I've taken material the thickness of a "T" shirt and used it. Actually, they were old dark "T" shirts.

Agree - it's way too thick, and will bind the window frame in the channel. I went to a fabric store and bought some black flannel material, and it worked fine.

My wife found some very thin and wide rolls of Velcro at a fabric shop that works fine and I would think would wear well. She paid $1.00 per roll in a clearance deal. Velcro at Lowes and etc are also too thick and too narrow.
