Does anyone know who restores vacuum relays for wipers and headlights. I have not been able to locate anyone who does this. Any help out there?

Re: vacuum relay restoration
Try Caledonia Classic Cars in Belding, MI (888)245-5224
They did mine many years ago; current catalog shows it at $163.00

Re: vacuum relay restoration
Yes, the side of the ring you pried will have little ridges that you can't get out. BUT, if you put the untouched side of the ring up, it's almost impossible to see the pried side of the ring underneath. Then it's just a matter of using pliers to gently recrimp the ring back in place. The cover is spring loaded, so you have to hold it in place for the first fews recrimps.
I've used them in judging and no one knew the difference. Here's a thread to show you how mine came out.

Re: vacuum relay restoration
Pat - nice work! It's a lot cheaper to buy a repro for parts instead of one of the rare relays that still have the right stamping!
Thanks
