'61 door weatherstripping

When putting on new door weatherstripping on 1961, how do I connect the clips and screws on the Door Post? The kit I got from Paragon has screws, wire "U" shaped clips, and flat "U" shaped clip with a hole in one end, that I assume is where the screw goes.The screws are shown in the AIM, but I can't see how the clips attach to the w/strip.

I may be wrong, but I think the clips hold down the weatherstrip. Screw thru the clip, then clip over the rubber.
