    '65 Roadster inspection by Dulles Airport

    Hello,

    Is there anyone that can conduct an inspection on a partially restored '65 roadster near Dulles Airport for me in the next few days (Address is by Herndon VA)?

    The car is touted as having a matching # engine, trans and Rear end, none of which is installed. The body is painted and chassis restored, but has everything else (trim, interior, steering column, dash cluster, etc.) uninstalled.

    I would mainly be looking for someone that can inspect the work already performed, confirm that running gear is original to the car, and most importantly to me assess/inventory the parts that come with the car but are not installed to see condition and let me know what is missing.

      Hi Ken,

      I'm on Maryland's eastern shore and am too far away. Chuck Berge offers that service and he's in your area. Can't vouch for him, as I've only met him once in passing when I was a member of the Mid Atlantic Chapter. Seemed straight up. He has an ad in the Driveline under "Service & Misc."           Thanks Mike,

          I just left him a message. I didn't realize chuck was in that area - I don't know him personally but I did talk to him once about my '58 - he had inspected it for someone else that passed on the car and then I bought it (small world!!).

                  Call Tony's Corvette. Very straight forward and you will know what you are getting in to.

                  Talk with Tony. I had him inspect one for me that I did not buy. Too much rust.
