Re: Sportsman Points
No, not exactly. Regardless of the piont of import of the outstanding Sportsman points history:
Once you have received your plaque only points of the last 12 months are accumulated.
When you haven't received a plaque the last 3 years are counted.

Re: Sportsman Points
Well someone forgot to give it to me. That date sounds like the National Convention, but I thought the plaque was supposed to go to the local chapter to give to the recipient. Maybe the problem is that, since I belong to three chapters, they are passing it around trying to catch me.Terry- Top

Re: Sportsman Points
May be like the Driveline/Restorer and the check -- it's in the mail. I attended two of the three chapter's judging meets over the summer, but no stinkin' plaque. I'll be patient some more now that I understand why the 2009 National Convention Sportsman doesn't show up in the profile. I just didn't know the plaque was on the way.Terry- Top

Re: Sportsman Points
Terry,
Yes, the plaque is sent to the Chapter Chairman and is then presented to the member who has completed the requirements. Check with you chapter chairman and ask if he has receive it. If you are a member of more than one chapter then maybe they received it.

Re: Sportsman Points
Dick,
I got a PM from someone suggesting it may be a Christmas present. I don't usually go to the "social" events -- I'm just not a "social" kind of guy -- but I might have to make an exception this year.
It is a good thing I didn't drive to all those meets for the plaque -- I didn't even know I was due one until today.Terry- Top

Re: Sportsman Points
Terry,
I like to present them at our General Membership Meeting at the start of each year. More members attend that event as it winter time and they are itchen to get out .
Congrats, "another plaque on the wall"

Re: Sportsman Points
I received my Plague in 2004.
Sportsman rules state:
After a plague is collected only 10 points are required per "single" year.
What defines a single year?
Jan. - Dec. or from "first" event until 10 points are accumulated in less then 12 months.
I accumulated 12 points from Sept. 2006 to July 2007, 1- regional,
2- chapter and 1- national.
And didn't received an award, that is why I don't Sportsman anymore!Hank Fredella
