66' Aluminum Intake Manifold
Were the 350 Hp aluminum intake mainfolds painted silver. If they were, were they painted on the car? I would take it if they were there would be overspray on the heads and possibly on the front and rear of the engine block.

i think GM sprayed the aluminum paint along the manifold cylinder head interface so the bare cast iron surface of the heads would not show rust till at least the dealer sold the corvette.

So was the intake manifold itself painted silver, installed on engine, and then had some orange overspray?Comment
