I need a description of the black plastic cover used specifically on the 75 W/Sh Wiper Motor. In 1975 the washer pump was removed from the wiper motor and was relocated on the washer bottle. A new flat cover on the motor replaced the larger cover. My question is this...I have seen flat covers with the middle raised section as "round" and I have seen covers with the middle raised section as "round but pointed on one side". I think the round version was used in 75 and the pointed style was introduced later? Can anyone identify the correct 75 shape?

Alger, give me until tomorrow and I will let you know what my original 52K mile ragtop has. Would a picture help? This is the wiper motor right?

Re: W/shield wiper plastic cover 75
Alger, I have a 75 vert built in February of 75 and it has the flat cover with the middle raised section that is round and pointed towards the passenger side, like your second description. Hope this helps,

Re: W/shield wiper plastic cover 75
I look forward to finding out what style you have. Yes it is the wiper motor and specifically it's black flat cover. Ray Walker has also responded and his cover has the point. I am in the process of ground up restoring my 75 vert (Bright Green) to NCRS standards. People may think I am crazy to be doing a 75 but it is one beautiful car.

Re: W/shield wiper plastic cover 75
Thanks for the pics Ray, Looks like the pointed version is the way to go. The one on my 75 (April) was round but It had no date label, It may have been replaced at some time. I have several old motors and most have the pointed cover. One other in my extras has the round cover. Therefore the confusion. (Neither of the round covers had a date label).
