John, thanks for the idea, it was in the owners manuel its a number 1816.

You'll find the lamp called for has a VERY different globe geometry than what you've been using. That gets the filament higher and more fully into the climate control assy for optimum illumination...

Thanks Jack, that makes sense, I can hardly see the bulbs illumination.Im going to the auto parts store today to see if I can find that number 1816 bulb.
