    1957 heater blower switch.

Which terminals do the power in and the brown wire (to the blower) go to on the back of the blower switch ?
I have 3 terminals, is there a third wire?
    Thanks.

Only ONE wire comes from the heater motor (Brown) and another wire from it to the switch , then another wire from the switch to the fuse panel ,The switch is grounded to the dash support , some have a separate ground wire from the heater to the dash support . ( if you have Three wires coming out of the heater motor it's a CAR motor.)

      Roy,
I have the one brown from the heater motor and the white one from the fuse panel. I also have the ground from the heater body to the dash support.
My problem is that there are 3 terminals on the back of the switch and I do not know which 2 terminals to attach the brown and white wires to.

Off the top of my head I cant remember , but connect wire from the fuse panel (right side I think looking at back) then turn the switch ON and the wire from the heater touch one terminel at a time to see which will run the heater. .
Just had a thought the middle tang is not used???????

See what you get when asking a old guy

          Hi Bruce,
I will try and post a picture of the heater blower switch from my 57 bowtie car.
Picture will show only 2 wires. White wire is power from the fuse panel.
Red cloth covered wire is going to a connector located below the dash to join with the brown blower motor wire.
A seperate black ground wire attaches at the blower motor housing and gets a ground from the dash panel.
          Hope this helps
          Dave

Probably the same as my 62. Blower wire to the "B" terminal and the other wire to the #3 terminal.
