what is this? does this belong on my radiator-over flow tank if there is one .should this be on there for visual correctness? or just for ncrs judging? if so where does it go? thanks #50854

Hi Jim.
The aluminium over-flow tanks did have an inspection tag.
The Tech Guide describes it as a 'paper' tag. The reproduction tags I see are a single numeral and made of semi-clear material, (almost like a peel-off decal).
There's a picture, in one of the 68-72 books available, that shows what appears to be an original paper tag with the words 'inspec. by' visible, but the rest of the tag really can't be seen.
Perhaps a BowTie owner will post some info.

Jim,
Your profile lists an LT-1 "on the way." It should not have an aluminum overflow tank nor, therefore, any stickers on it.
