    '69 blower motor

Hello all. Could someone (Joe) give me the original part number for a heater blower motor for an early '69 A/C car. The AIM shows the motor and box as a unit and my 1982 parts book has an updated number. Thanks, as always, in advance.

I believe it was GM #4914916. However, I don't know if this is the number that's actually found on the motor, itself.

      Joe:
Thanks for the response. The number that is on the motor is 5044721 and it is dated 8-68. Any thoughts?

        Jeff-----

GM #5044721 was a PRODUCTION-only part number. The part number I provided was a SERVICE part number. Often, these are the same as the PRODUCTION part number but not for components like blower motors. That's why I previously mentioned that the number on the motor might not be the same. When one purchased a SERVICE motor under the part number I previously provided, one would likely have gotten a box containing a 5044721 motor assembly + a few other parts/instructions.

Given the number series on the motor and the date, I have no doubt it's either the original one installed on your car or one out of another car that could have been installed on your car.

Thanks again for the information. That was the answer I was hoping for.
