C3 Power Window Problem

Please Help!!
Power windows will go down and will not go up. First it was just the drivers side, but now both. I have tried removing the switches and exchanging them, that does not work. Lights dim slightly and motor clicks when switch is activated. Nothing happens when switches are operated to bring window up. Any help would be appreciated

It has been a number of years since I worked on a 73 power window motor but the motor had similar issues to yours. Iirc, the motor gets power to both terminals - one is the up side and the other the lower. The motor grounds to something in the door channel. We wound up taking the motor out and replacing the brushes as well as cleaning up the armature. Once we reinstalled new brushes the motor worked both ways. Also, aren't passenger car window motors the same as Corvette? I recall another Corvette that I think we used a working motor from another GM car.
