Similarity of mid-year seat frames

Are the insides, the frames and bottoms the same for all mid-years 63-67? In other words, if the seat covers and cushions removed are they all the same underneath?

Sorry I don't have time to explain the differences right now. Hopefully some will.

The short answer is no.

You could group them 63-4 although the 63 bottom differs significantly from 64,. The 65-6 are the same I believe, then 67 has a differnt seat back.

65-66 back same
67 back only
63 bottom only
64-66 bottom same

I'm always looking for ideas to squeeze a more room out of my 66' Corvette interior. Anyone know if I swaped seat backs with a 64' (the 63' - 64' backs look thinner then 65' - 66' backs) would it give a little more room?
