71 copper radiator color

what is the correct color of black for a BB copper radiator? Are the fins the same as the end tanks?

Radiator shops still use a black paint on copper radiators -- call first, but take it to your local radiator shop for coating. It will be gloss at first, but a couple of heat cycles will turn it the proper semi-gloss. The whole radiator was painted at the same time with the same material.

Just went through judging with my copper radiator painted semi gloss. I did not recieve any deduction.
