1964 Rocker Molding Black Finish

Can someone refresh my memory as to the correct finish color of black used on the 64 rocker moldings?

Craig, my 64 has what I would call flat or semi-flat black. No sheen at all.

I think the consensus in the threads a few months back was semi-flat black. Most specifically that Krylon paint that is recommended for guage clusters and is no longer readily available. There were some others too but I forget them.

Here's what I used on mine (one side). It's SEM 39103, Flexible Bumper Coater. Note the test strip just to right of mounting screw hole.
The rocker panel is an original one taken off in 1969 put in corner of garage where it remains now.
