This has been posted on another forum and is supposed to be the VIN tag from a '69.

But not a VIN tag that GM ever issued. The digits preceding the supposed plant of manufacture indicate a 1969 Corvette coupe. The G indicates Farmingham which of course never manufactured Corvettes. The following digits, including the individual car serial number, are not consistent with those of any other 1969 Corvette.

I feel sorry for the guy, but as always caveat emptor.

That font dosen't look right either. Go look at the "3" compared to your VIN's.

Now look at the "1"

Also notice how one "9" is lower.

Are we sure this wasn't made with a vinyl label maker, sprayed flat black and stuck on?
