I'll have to double check but I beleive that line feeds vacuum to the heater controls on the console. If you are not aware, Astro Ventilation has a vacuum operated flapper under the rear window that opens when the heat is on cold and the vent dial is in the off position. The air flow it provides is subtle through the side dash and kick panel vents and you may not even notice it's not working. The vacuum servo is tucked up out of sight on the drives side.
I think that hose connects to a "T" fitting in a larger hose in the engine compartment. Because of the size difference of the two hoses, an over the counter T-fitting is hard to come by. Corvette Central has this one #303303. It a
