1969 Idle Solenoid

Finishing my resto and since my car did not have the correct carb/set-up when purchased, I was wondering if it originally came with an Idle Solenoid. It is a 1969 390 hp w/ THM400 trans - no AC. It is not clear to me from the ASM whether the car was so equiped, and the best I can tell from the archives is that the answer is yes. Can anyone confirm?

That would probably be me, unless your volunteering?

Not trying to be a smart butt... but, if we list the cars that came with a solenoid, and your car does not match that list, it should not have one. Send me an email (gbozz08@gmail.com) and tell me how to make it clearer. I am more than happy to update the wording, add pictures, whatever.. in the manual. If it's not clear to one person, it's not clear to others.

A friend of mine had a low mileage 350-350, 4-speed AC car. It did not have a solenoid. I've attached a photo.
