or what possible year that wiper switch can be ???

It's possible. Can you post a picture of the backside? It's important to see whether there are reinforcing ribs at the location of the upper-most countersinks.

What I can tell you is that 6491649 is the part number shown in the 69 AIM. The AIM indicates further that Part 6491649 replaced part 6483324 on July 11, 1968, but when this changed took place on the production line, I can't say. From this, I would suggest, though, that part 6491649 is probably correct for a later production 1969 car.

This is a correct 1969 piece (for cars without C-60).

Incidentally, there are only 2 places on a 1969 without C-60 that the word "Corvette" appears. The first is this plate. The second is the lettering on the rear panel. For cars with C-60, there's only one place the word "Corvette" appears---the rear panel lettering.

Actually, there is one other place that the word "Corvette" appears on some 1969 Corvettes but I don't count this one. Can anyone tell me what it is?

My August 5th built 1968 Coupe has part number 6491649 on it as I just checked (had it off to change out a bad gauge). It has two reinforcing ribs on each side of the countersunk hole. I'll try and post a photo later on.

It's on the underhood emissions label, but only for those cars with a "CF" emissions code.
