Is yours a coupe or convertible? Don't know if it makes much difference except I know the converts are inclined to sag which affects the window adjustments/fit at full up. The lower adjustments are not too difficult once you get the door panels and access panels off. Many years ago I did mine and in the process I sort of rehabed the roll up mechanisms by tightening up the pivot pins, cleaning and relubing the channels, etc. I used all new felt guide channels as well.
Others will probably jump on with more specifics. If you rehab everything as I mentioned above, I'm sure you will eliminate your sticking condition.
