Thanks for the compliments Don. I am sorry I missed you as well. I probably spent about 7 or 8 hours in the tent talking to people and it was very rewarding to see so many people appreciate the work I have done without doing a body off. Most people do not understand the hours that all of us put into these cars. Shout me an email and lets see if we are close enough to hook up.

What is the reason and advantages of joining the LT-1 Registry?

Is it a way to authenticate my car? Is it to get a # of cars left? Is there a way to find how rare mine is? Is it like a discussion board just for us?

I e-mailed Mr. Lindee and he said:
"Thanks for the inquiry, but to be clear, this is not a registry, it is an NCRS survey of how the 1970 to 72 LT-1's were originally equipped.
The only benefit to the participants is a more accurate NCRS judging manual!
The information is used to track such things as running year changes and specific date codes, original options,trim tag info etc......
Owner information, mileage, vehicle condition is not needed or required."

I e-mailed him back and will take part in his fact finding quest, but would like to join a registry to further authenticate my Stingray.

How do I find the LT-1 Registry (if there is one)?

I am not aware of an LT1 registry. Scott has the only LT1 list that I know of. Scott has been accumulating LT1 data since before NCRS began to judge LT1s (1985).
