1960 (late) 4X2 Air Cleaner Info needed

Hello. As you can see, this is my first post and I am in need of information regarding the original air cleaner for my late 60 2X4. I have taken some time and reviewed the archives so not to bother anyone with another "air cleaner" question which has already been answered. I was unable to find what I need. I am certain there are many here with the correct information. So please, HELP! I am wanting to use an original for showing. I believe that I have found one after much searching. I need help to verify this is the "real deal". I have found conflicting info in one publication to another. It seems to be generally accepted that the louvers of the top were rows that were not equally spaced. In their new book 1958-60 Corvette Restoration Handbook, Baird and Howey discuss how it is the reproduction that has irregularly spaced rows and that the original were equally spaced. This is confusing me. Also, I am unable to find much good info on the bottom plate to help me determine an original form a repro. I would greatly appreciate any help and especially detailed photos of a true original that I might study. I will be having the car judged again soon and would like to have the correct cleaner on board. Thanks!!

I posted a repro and an original base. The original base is for a late 60 or early 61. Still not 100% sure if the large AC should be on the original base.

Original air cleaners are very rare, even at NCRS events. I am getting my top restored and hopefully it will be show quality.

Thanks Mark. That is what I needed to see. What did you decide about the large AC. Also, who is doing the restoration on your air cleaner top. What do you know about the spacing of the louvers?

Richard Dunham in Michigan is restoring my top. He usually does steering wheels but is doing this for me. His 59 Duntov has a nice original air cleaner he restored.

I think when I get it silkscreened I will go use the AC logo. I couldn't find evidence the late 60 cars came without the logo. I think early 61 cars may have came without the logo.

I hear Richard Fortier is doing the silkscreening.
