TH350 vacuum source

OK, another question concerning my conversion to a TH350. I need a source of vacuum for the vacuum modulator. The intake I am using does not have a hole for a vacuum fitting.

Can I use the vacuum fitting that comes off of the rear base of the carburetor? Carb is a Rochester 4GC.

I have another intake that does have a hole for a vacuum fitting. I prefer not to change intakes if possible.

As long as your car has vacuum advance you can splice into that line.

No vacuum advance on the distributor. There is a plug in the port where it would normally hook up.

Ed,
You will need full-time vacuum for the TH 350. The port at the back of your Rochester is likely that, but look at it to be sure the carburetor threaded port goes to an opening below the throttle plates.
