I have used Librandis for several projects over the years, including my current 70 body off restoration. I have always been happy with the results.

            Hi Jeff,
I was pleased wth the chrome plating Librandi did on the bumpers and small parts for my 71. I also found the prices reasonable.
When I examined the finished bumpers I found a tiny flaw in one of the rear bumpers and they re-did the bumper with no hesitation.
            Regards,
            Alan

Here are a couple of pictures I retrieved from an earlier post.

                Hi Jeff,
My work was done a few years ago and at that time it took about 6 weeks. A phone call would get you up to date.
                Regards,
                Alan

PS: I live about an hour and a half away from them but decided to deliver and pick up the parts. That way I could talk to them about each piece when they assessed them. It also helped me to catch the flaw with them right there tosee what I saw.

If your in Ca. There is no better chrome shop, they keep it like a hospital operating room , they did mine 30 years ago and it still looks like it was done today. NOT cheap but you get what you pay! There also the best at POT METAL , I also painted the back sides light gray to protect them !

Librandi's did a lot of work for me through the years, mostly the very expensive pot/white metal work and a few bumpers. I've also used Paul's with great results as well. In case you haven't ever had anything replated be prepared for some "sticker shock" as it's certainly not a cheap service.

Sherms re-plated all my chrome. Great quality, and customer service.

Try M&P Refinishing in Jeannette, PA 724-527-6360. Owned and operated bythe Kerlin family.
Don't go telling everyone but M&P is a subcontractor for a lot of well know platers. They specialize in pot metal also. Show chrome and gold plating. No cad or zinc though and I can't talk them into it.
Corvette bumpers: They can only do the 1/2 bumpers.
                        You will be happy.
Tell them I sent you. JD
P.S. THey also plate some plastics.
