I'm posting this warning so everyone can keep there Corvettes indoor for at least a week. I'm washing my car tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The effect it has on the weather is very strange. Every time I wash my car I'm guaranteeing it will rain and blow it's guts out for at least a week. Don't say I never warned you. Stewy

True Stewy, We got 4" of snow Sept.22, Little early most dried off. But cleaned up the 69 Black Nova. Now here it comes. Roads will be mud for few days. Pic of Fall snow at the "Billy Bob" cabin. For your collection. Later Jay

Paul you heard about our dust storm Ah !!! I have a mate in Sydney and I'm sure he washed his Corvette 2 days ago. Now the whole city is an inch under nuclear radioactive red dust. It's catching on wait until I wash the beast tomorrow dude !!! Stewy

Heyyyyy, were you washing your car last week? We got a 500 year flood here in Atlanta. (No kidding, the U.S. Geological Survey said it was officially a five hundred year flood). Just rub it clean next time

Graeme your rubbing salt in the wounds. I woke this morning to give the car a bath and was blown back in the house by rain and 100 k winds. That's about
1 1/2 weeks of rain and more winds.
Graeme have you got an empty block of land next door, I'm coming up to the sunshine coast I think I have had enough of this torture. I always said I will never own a rag top car and being weak at the knees for a C1 I bought one and have only taken the hard top off a couple of times. I'm thinking about just glassing it to the body to make a coupe out of it.
Sorry for the floods in Atlanta that happened because I thought about washing my car ! Stewy

I will never forget one of the greatest posts that I have ever read on this board. You made it and it involved you and the horns growing out of your head. If you glass the top on you can't grow the horns, and the "carby's" aren't as loud. On a C2 with the top down it won't rain on you if you're going over 35 mph. Of course, you can't stop and you're going to have to run the red lights. I'll bet you've thought about that.

Do not wash your car again. Doing so subjects your car to a possible rust condition.

Steven it's plastic no rust !!!! I drive my 1960 nearly every day and it just gets to dirty to run a wet chamios over it so it gets a bath maybe once every couple of months. But what drives me crazy is the chrome I dry it whenever it gets wet. Chrome and water don't get along Stewy

I have high wind problems every time i go to change my oil the wind whips up and blows the oil all over the concrete pad. it stops as soon as i put the plug back in
