Does anybody know if the emissiom label (coded F) for a 68 390 with manual and air conditioning requires the A/C on or off? I have one repo that says on and one that says off.

Can't get a answer here, would anyone know of someone that may know the correct emission sticker verbage for the F code one?

There may be someone here who ownes a 1968 with this label originaly installed -- but then again, maybe not.

In the mean time I'll give you a bump tot he top.

I have an un-restored 1969 390hp 427 cu in, line number 1 says to turn the A/C off.

I would think the 68 would be the same, but stranger things are known to happen .

Edit:

Much of the label is hard to read, looks like it is Code 'CK' and a part no of 'No 39 4254' the '5' in the part number is hard to read so I'm not positive about it.

Thanks. Most say "off" but there are a few places that say "on" and having one each from different sources makes it a crap shoot. I was hoping to get a judge to jump in.
