Re: Star vs Bowtie Judging What is the Difference
None.
A Star is awarded for each section of the car (Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Mechanical) that passes Bowtie Judging. If the car gets four Stars it has achieved the Bowtie Award.Terry- Top

Nicely said, Terry! That's why you'll see the award referred to as the 'Star/Bowtie' award. The highest outcome possible is a 'Bowtie' award (four Stars), but 1, 2 and 3 Star awards are also possible...- Top

Re: Star vs Bowtie Judging What is the Difference
BTW, being new to NCRS, you might want to consider buying a copy of the NCRS Judging Reference Manual. It provides the 'rules of the road' concerning owner/judge responsibilties, a Standard Deduction table for items that are common to all Corvettes regardless of specific model year (e.g. tires, glass, Etc.) and a complete description of each of the club's Award/Recognition programs...- Top
