Star vs Bowtie Judging What is the Difference

I am new to the club and would like to know the difference between Star and Bowtie Judging. Thank you

    None.

A Star is awarded for each section of the car (Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Mechanical) that passes Bowtie Judging. If the car gets four Stars it has achieved the Bowtie Award.

Nicely said, Terry! That's why you'll see the award referred to as the 'Star/Bowtie' award. The highest outcome possible is a 'Bowtie' award (four Stars), but 1, 2 and 3 Star awards are also possible...

BTW, being new to NCRS, you might want to consider buying a copy of the NCRS Judging Reference Manual. It provides the 'rules of the road' concerning owner/judge responsibilties, a Standard Deduction table for items that are common to all Corvettes regardless of specific model year (e.g. tires, glass, Etc.) and a complete description of each of the club's Award/Recognition programs...
