'66 engine harness to coil/ballast resistor wiring question

Alright guys, I'm having a moment here, I installed a new engine wire harness in my '66, the car was a TI car, I don't have the TI distributor and so I didn't buy or install the TI conversion harness. I have a ballast resistor for this "conversion" back to a standard ignition system. I have a single pink wire that I believe goes to the ballast resistor, and I have a double pink wire terminal that then goes to the coil. Now, I assume the double pink wire to the coil goes to the + side, so what wire goes then from the other end of the ballast resistor and to what does it connect? It seems I am missing a wire lead perhaps?

    Thanks,
    Steve

I think your going to have a pink wire coming from behind the wiper motor that will have a male end on it that will have to be changed to an end like the other pinks have. You should have unplugged it from your old TI harness. It should be hot with the key on and cold when off.

Roger, I know exactly the wire you speak of, I was suspecting that might have something to do with my problem. That would be the wire which would run to the other terminal on the ballast resistor then, correct?

      Thanks for the help,
      Steve

Yes that should be it. It should have a black plastic cover over the male and the wire from your old TI harness should have been a 12 white that plugged into this pink.
