    Corvette Fuse Holders-???

The attached photos show two Fuse Holders. The one on the left is a 10 amp fuse that was in the later C-4's. BG was having problems with the batteries running down because the underhood lamps were coming on, so when the C-4 left BG this Fuse Holder was attached to the rear view mirror for the dealer to install in their prep in the fuse/connector that is mounted in the left headlamp area. The Fuse Holder on the right is a 15 am fuse and was to be installed in ctsy location of the Fuse Panel. Was this 15 amp Fuse Holder ever shipped with a Corvette from BG. It was reported to be with 1989 Corvette. The part number can not be located in the system of the local Chevrolet Dealer. Also note that it does not have the indication that it was printed in U.S.A. as does the 10 amp Fuse Holder. Any comments or opinions.
    Thanks in advance.

    Charlie -

I'm not a C4 guy, but in previous years, items shipped loose in the car were shown in the "Miscellaneous Shipping List" section in UPC 0 of the Assembly Manual; you might find that fuse in that section.

John, I have the Factory Service Manual but no Assembly Manual. If a Assembly Manual is available for the C-4's do you have any idea where to get one, I have never seen one advertised. I also have a copy of the Parts Manual. Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

I can't tell you about all C4s, but at some point in that range there stopped being Assembly Manuals, and the name was changed. I am thinking the name changed to PDM (Product Description Manual), but don't hold me to the exact terminology. In any case the books are different than the Assembly Manuals, and include less information. They are also, to the best of my knowledge, not available tot he hobby at this time, and may never be.

There are others on this board who know the proper terminology, and I hope they chime in to help my failing memory.
