C2 Vent Window Regulators

Hi All;

Does anyone have a good source for C2 Vent Window Regulators.. either reproduction or rebuilding of originals??

I just replaced my two originals with reproductions from a well known C2 parts supplier.. and then headed off to the NE Regional for a PV... both sides, properly installed, failed... The vent window play when partly open was too large... (can only be 1/2") and wiggling that part open vent window caused excessive movement in the vent window crank handle...

I'm going to need to replace/repair these again, but before I do, I am hoping to get some guidance as to who makes a properly working part.

Hi Joel,

The vent window regulators on the '67 we're restoring need to be rebuilt, and in doing my research, I found that America's Finest Corvettes manufactures a vent window rebuild kit with a "T/6 aircraft aluminum helical gear" that seems to solve the problem, if the problem you're having is related to a plastic (or pot-metal?) gear.

I contacted someone who posted that he had bought this particular rebuild kit from AFC a few years ago to find out if he was still happy with it, and he said everything was still working as it should.
