    Excessive Clutch Cross Shaft Play

I need help to fix a cluch pedal that rattles inside the car in the lower rpm range. The problem is the frame to engine clutch cross shaft has excessive play - up and down and side to side at both ends, at the bellhousing ball and at the cross shaft tower ball. I don't see anything out of the ordinary more than what I consider to be normal wear on the pivot points. Are there supposed to be internal bushings of some sort in both ends of the cross shaft? Thanks for your help.

There are no internal bushings in the crossshaft for C1 Corvettes. I would say that if you have excessive play that there must be excessive wear on the ball studs and/or the inner surfaces of the crossshaft.
