Vette fest at Old Town will be at Old Town Oct.3rd .It is a very nice show and quite large. It is free to all car owners and spetators alike. This is the location that hosts our annual Florida regional meet in January. I would like to see NCRS members come out and support this venture. Spend a couple bucks and help the stores and vendors out a little.Thanks Tom Stanton #41491

We'll try to make it as well. My son sold his last 78 PC and is looking for another (?) so that just leaves the 63 which is at his place with a dead battery. Guess the old Reliable one finally failed (8 years) due to the Florida heat which evaporates/cooks the water out of it along with the acid. We usually check it before startup, but missed a few times. When we change the battery, we want to do a coolant and thermostat change at the same time, but first we have to agree on which battery to put in it. I told my son to wait for me to help as I know the car better than him and have changed the battery's several times before. I also don't want him trying to open the radiator drain as, being aluminum, they are delicate and if you turn it the wrong way you'll break off the petcock handle.
So, if all goes well, we'll get there with a Vette or not.

Do you plan on going? The weather say's 30% chance of rain. We are heading up tomorrow. I will be driving my victory red 08 coupe. I sold my 88 and am currently looking for a C2 coupe. TomComment

30% chance of rain in Central Florida is great odds. We'll probably be there to look around, but the 63's battery is still dead. Guess I'll have to replace it.
