Any problem in using a 68 up rear strut rod bracket on a 64? 63-67 have a different part number than 68 up. Was the rod bushing size the only difference?

Re: Strut Rod Bracket
On the '68-up bracket, the centerline of the cam bolts at the inner end of the strut rod was lowered, which lowered the rear roll center. I don't think there would be any interferences using the '68-up bracket on a '63-'67, but I don't know that for sure.- Top

Re: Strut Rod Bracket
The difference in the brackets is as John described. The 68+ bracket will bolt into a 63-67 but the as-designed suspension geometry will be changed.
There is no difference in the strut rods, themselves. The 1963-74 strut rods were all the same. The larger diameter end strut rods were used from 1975+ and are SERVICE for 63-74.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Strut Rod Bracket
I don't think it's reproduced but there must be good used examples out there. In fact, Pacific Corvette (www.pacvette.com) shows that they have a used example in stock for $100. The part number was 3817827.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
