C2 Speedo Parts availability

As usual, the 2nd worm gear (AKA diagonal gear) has worn where it interacts with the magnet / first worm shaft. Result is no odometer or trip meter movement.

Seems to me that decades ago, you could buy just the gear. Is this still the case, and if so, any suggestons where I look ?

You do not want to use plastic gears in a C-2 speedometer. Email me your address & I'll send you the correct gear.

Any body else have the same problem? I have mine apart and it is identical to the picture. Need a replacement.
