72 coupe front cross member marking

The 70-72 judging manuel states that a (OK) marking is written on the front cross member front, upside down. has anyone seen a marking like this and was it certain years my car is a 72 coupe.

It would be a mistake to interpret those words to mean that ALL 1970-1972 had that mark.

I have a picture, but it is an old fashioned printed photo taken with film and there is no way I am going through those thousands of photos to find it. It was on a 1970 built in early February 1970, and was in green grease pencil. Written before the brake line was installed.

Terry, I beleive the wording is some 70 to 72 have been seen with the OK on the front cross member.

Sounds right to me. "Some" could mean anywhere from one to a thousand -- or I suppose even several thousand.
