Tank Sticker

I have a new place where some of you may find a tank sticker. The ones I found were in bad shape but they could be in a readable condition on low mileage cars. I found the tank stickers inside the frame in the crossmember at the rear of the frame rails. I have found them before inside both frame rails under the doors. If you have time to spare and a piece of wire you may fish something out.

Does body have to be off to find these?

I found them while cutting up some bent up frames so I could lift the sections that could be used for repair parts. On the assembly line the last person to use one of the build sheets may as part of his job was to throw away the paperwork. If he pushed it through a hole in the frame it was not to found by the boss and was good enough.If you hear it while fishing with a wire you will need to find a way to get it out. The frame need not be off just find a hole in the frame and start fishing.
The hole near the power steering bracket mount is a place I found them but the rear crossmember is a new spot I just found.
