Does anyone have information on Rimply Manufacturing? I found a Rimply label under my rear fascia. Looked them up and they paint plastic panels for GM. Clear Coat and Finish. Also found similiar marking of the label on the front fascia and the license plate filler plate. Were the fascias painted prior to arriving at Bowling Green?

Re: Rimply Manufacturing
Yes, they were. The fascias are made of reaction injection-molded (RIM) urethane, and require a totally different flexible paint material and process than the body. I worked closely with Rimply when we launched the cab-forward Chrysler "LH" cars at Brampton, Ontario in 1992 - they molded and painted all of our front and rear fascias for the Intrepid, Concorde, and LHS.- Top

Re: Rimply Manufacturing
Rimply Manufacturing, out of Newmarket, Ontario, CA, is part of Magna International's Decoma Exterior Systems Group, the world's leading manufacturer of bumper systems. The company supplies finished exterior plastic parts such as automotive bumper systems and body panels for cars and light trucks. It is also one of North America's biggest plastics painting operations. It paints fascia and side body panels for Chrysler, Ford and GM plants in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Here are a couple of articles about them:

Re: Rimply Manufacturing
John, I sent you a PM requesting your email address. I want to send to you a draft of an article I wrote concerning Rimply. I wanted you to see it before I sent it to the Restorer. Vinnie Peters, the editor for the Restorer saw the article I wrote for our chapter and wanted to know if I was going to submit it to the Restorer and I told him I would. Like I said, I was not going to submit it to the Restorer until you got a look at it.
Thanks
