Does anyone know of this starter? I need it for my 5/14/63 car.

I've already checked with John Pirkle and I couldn't find it in Carlisle.

Gerald...I have a 1107242 dated 3 A 30 w/ 1119910 solenoid....looks to be in original condition but not sure if it's functional.

I'm looking for a 1107233 1962 starter and came across 3 mechanically correct starters in an old corvette friends garage...These part numbers 1107888,1107242,1108500....i was hoping to have one rebuilt as a susbsitute for the 1107233 that i can't find. The starter on the original stock engine that we are rebuilding is totally not correct mechanically
