    Mulsanne Blue

I'm looking at a 70 that's now painted Bridgehampton blue but is going to be repainted the correct Mulsanne Blue. Can someone post a shot of a car this color. I know I've seen it but can't remember what it looks like.
    Terry McManmon?

You can view several in the 1970 Corvette Registry. There's a section on cars by color: http://www.1970corvetteregistry.org/color.html

The problems with those photos and other photos is 1.) they are thumbnails and can't be enlarged and 2.) that different photos in various lighting conditions tend to make the same color cars darker or lighter. Perhaps you can find a 1970 Corvette exterior color chart.

Hi Scott, Yes I just saw many shades of blue.
I'll keep trying. I have a 69 that is LeMans Blue. Close?

I have a friend who has a Lemans Blue coupe. It seems that the 1969 LB is a shade of blue between the two blue colors of 1970.

Yes LeMans Blue is close to Mulsanne Blue. Send me a PM or email through this site with your email address. I'll see what pictures I have of my car at home.

The lighting is crucial for M blue, but modern colors (like Jetstream Blue) are worse. It is next to impossible to get a good photographic representation of the modern tinted-clear-coat paint colors. One can come close outdoors in overcast conditions, and a studio photographer can do magic, but us mortals can't do it.

That's a great looking Corvette, Kurt. Love the way they stand.
