2010 Florida regional corvette shipping question.

    Hi,

Is anyone from the Ohio area planning on shipping their car(s) down to the Orlando meet in January? If so was wondering if there might be a space or two left on a truck that we could occupy? I know this might be a long shot but thought I would ask. If not is anyone interested in going in on a truck to lower costs?

    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Charles,
Your going to drive the truck driver to drink - you live in the Carolinas, belong to a Chapter in Canada and want to ship a car from Ohio, now that's taking the scenic route. All kidding aside, I belong to the Central Jersey Chapter and two years ago we put together our own truck of 6 cars going to Boston. It was very easy to do, set it up with Inter-City Trucking and saved alot of bucks. If the car is in Ohio I would suggest you contact the Ohio Chapter to see if they have members going. Good luck.

All four Ohio Chapters -- or is it five by now? I forget how many there are in that state, but don't overlook any of them.

Yeah I dont know why it shows me as a member of the Ontario Chapter. The car is up in Ohio w/ my parents and would ship from Ohio to Florida. I live down in Charleston and am just getting a feel for what the options are. Anyone in Ohio going to Florida in Jan?

        Thanks,
        Chuck

Chuck, probably the Ontario Chapter Membership person made a typo. You can send a Help Desk request to have it corrected https://www.ncrs.org/helpdesk/ Gary....

Thanks for the help Gary. I submitted a ticket and asked if it can be changed back to the Lake Erie Chapter.

I know it might be a little early but if anyone is planning on shipping their car down to Kissimmee from Ohio in January I would be happy to share the cost to get a truck together. From what I understand if we can have multiple cars on a truck going traveling from the same location the costs can be greatly reduced. If anyone is thinking about this please email me smcgettric@aol.com or shoot me a PM and lets see if we can put something together.
Thanks for the help, we are looking forward to going to this show for the first time.

              Chuck
