I have the correct dated alternator for my Sept. 66 built Corvette. Looking at the AIM it appears the small block car could have different plating/paint variations on the alternator fan and pulley. Fans could be gray phosphate if one piece with pulley or the fan could be semi gloss black with cadium or zinc pulley. Would that be gold cadium or silver cadium on the pulley???? Any one have a picture??? Thanks for your help. Not successful in archives search on this plating question.

I almost hate to get involved in alternator pulley questions since I think there may well have been considerable "variability" on the assembly line even for the same, exact application. However, for 1967 I believe it's basically like this:
300 hp: 2 different pullies were used depending upon installed options but both pullies were 1 piece fan and pulley with only a small difference in OD between the pullies. Both were also phosphate finished.
L-79 used three different pullies depending upon installed options. However, all were silver zinc plated. I don't believe that any were originally irridite (gold) over-plated. Some later SERVICE pullies were, though. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
