    leaf spring cover bolts

I just received a bolt kit from paragon for a 9 leaf spring. Reading the archives on installing the leaf spring, I found that the differential cover bolts should be 3 1/4 in. The bolts from paragon are 3 9/16 in. long, the threads are 1 3/8 long, washers are about 1/8 in thick. Will these work ? Thanks Bob

I don't think you will have any problem with these bolts, at all. However, Paragon offers 2 different length bolts. They say that the 3-9/16" bolts were used for 9 leaf applications and the 3-1/4" for 7 leaf spring applications. I don't think there was originally any difference and I believe original bolts were all 3-1/4" long. However, I think the 3-9/16" will work fine for you and cause no problems.
